PositionThe Client Care Technician serves clients by performing repairs and troubleshooting any problems that arise with damaged luggage.Job ResponsibilitiesInspect used and returned products to determine the requirement for repair.Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed toolsTest and adjust repaired products for proper functioning as per company standardsDetermine estimates for repair cost on used and returned products regarding both labor and material requiredInspect new products to determine manufacturers’ defect or shipping damage to communicate to necessary partiesOperate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems for internal and external tracking of the service & repair department needs, stock supplies and requestsAssist Head Technician on training of CC Technician Trainee and/or store employeesLoad, unload and move materials either manually or with hand operated equipmentMay perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking for the service & repair department requirementsEnsure that standards for safe working conditions are observed per OSHA regulationsResponsible of daily cleaning of work areas and equipmentThese duties outlined reflect the Job description as accurately as possible at this time. Duties are subject to change at the discretion of Management.ProfileAt least two years’ experience in a manufacturing/technical environment with hands on experience using small hand tools.Furthermore, we seek:Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent education requiredMechanical background using hand and power tools a must3-year experience as a machine operator or an assembler in manufacturing is preferredWorking within repairs of industry product (luggage) requiredAttention to detail and quality would be a high personality trait standardAbility to work independentlyAbility to lift 25lbs repeatedlyWorking Conditions:Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, moderate lifting. manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods, use of power tools, reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, finding information, computer use, continuous learning.
