The roleAs a Client Manager, you will provide a range of Business Services to clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on advisory work with a mixture of complex accounting. Your clients will include companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.This role will suit someone who can take ownership of the role and show more than just an interest in the numbers, you need to have good business acumen and an open communication style. This is an interesting and varied role, the key focus is ensuring financial health and advising processes to promote profitability, growth and long-term success for clients’ businesses.This is a permanent full time mandate based in Central Auckland; closely accessible to public transport, restaurants and cafes.Key Responsibilities IncludePreparing Financial Statements, Management projections, KPIs, Business Plans etc.Reviewing the compliance work as prepared by the onshore and offshore team members.Tax should be something you are confident doing and advising onOverseeing Accounting systems, procedures and workflow managementDealing with a number of projects at one time while setting and delivering on deadlinesKey contact point for Clients requirementsLead, mentor, and inspire a team of advisors and consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.About you They are looking someone who is experienced and capable, who wants to continue to learn from the team around them while taking on a leadership role in the team. It is important that you are dynamic, willing to get to know the whole business and have a genuine positive personality.You need to demonstrate that you are technically strong, can perform the fundamentals of accounting and tax, and that you are competent at preparing accounts to a high level. Just as importantly you need to have a calm, agile, client focused and self-motivated personality.You Will Also Be Able To Demonstrate The Following4+ years’ experience in a medium to large CA firm Experience using Xero and Xero add-ons Client focused approach, able to understand the client’s needs Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills Self-manager, maintaining high standards Great team player, collaborating with the team and sharing your skills and experience with junior team membersAbout the EmployerOur Client is a leading chartered accounting and business advisory firm based in Auckland.
