Job Title: Client Services Project Manager (B2B Technology)Company: Informa TechTarget – Omdia DivisionWebsite: www.informatechtarget.com | Omdia DivisionLocation: Tokyo, Japan (Onsite, 3 days/week)(Tokyo address: 9th floor JHV Building, 1-54-4 Kanda Jimbocho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 101-0051, JAPAN)Languages: English (Fluent) and Japanese (Business to Native Proficiency) — essential for APAC client engagementEquipment: Must use personal equipmentAbout Informa TechTargetInforma TechTarget is a global B2B technology data and services company that partners with enterprise tech giants such as Apple, Google, Meta, Samsung, and Huawei.Through its Omdia Division, the company provides market intelligence, research, and strategic consulting that helps clients make informed business, technology, and product decisions.Omdia delivers critical insights that shape product launches, market entry strategies, and enterprise innovation — empowering clients across the APAC region to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Client Services Project Manager to join our Tokyo-based APAC team within Omdia.This role is central to managing 4–6 simultaneous client projects, driving delivery excellence, and maintaining strong relationships with enterprise technology clients and executive stakeholders.The ideal candidate will be a proactive, polished communicator with proven experience managing high-impact technology projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and aligning cross-functional teams across time zones.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple concurrent enterprise client projects (typically 4–6) from initiation through completion.Serve as the primary client contact for APAC enterprise accounts, including C-Suite and VP-level executives.Develop and manage project plans, schedules, deliverables, and reports while ensuring scope adherence and timely delivery.Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.Collaborate with internal analyst and consulting teams to deliver insights that align with client goals.Prepare and present project findings, data, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.Manage project documentation, administrative tracking, and communication across all workstreams.Support initiatives such as market research, data center cooling studies, or product launch analyses for technology clients.Maintain a high standard of professionalism and cultural awareness, representing Omdia with integrity and confidence.Required Skills & Experience4–5+ years of experience in client-facing project management within the enterprise technology, consulting, or market research domains.Proven ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects with strong time and stakeholder management.Experience engaging with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders.Familiarity with enterprise technology environments and clients such as Samsung, Sony, Apple, or Google.Skilled in Smartsheet (preferred) or other PM tools (Jira, Asana, Trello).Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.Strong command of English and Japanese, both written and verbal.Excellent presentation, communication, and risk mitigation skills.Soft SkillsExceptional cross-cultural communication and client relationship management skills.Ability to “read the room” and adapt communication tone and style to diverse APAC clients.Resilient and composed under pressure — able to manage client escalations with professionalism.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Consultative, client-first mindset with a passion for technology and project delivery excellence.Interview ProcessPresentation Round – Candidates will deliver a brief project presentation (template provided).Panel Interview (1 hour) – Review presentation and discuss project management skills and client experience.Contract DetailsPosition Type: Onsite, Tokyo, JapanSchedule: 3 days per week in-officeWhy Join OmdiaJoin one of the world’s leading technology intelligence firms, where data, research, and strategy intersect.You’ll work with global technology innovators, manage strategic projects, and help shape insights that guide the future of enterprise tech.
