You will play a crucial role in driving customer success by creating comprehensive implementation documentation, supporting client engineering teams through their integration journey, and showcasing our platform's capabilities to prospective customers.You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure clients can successfully adopt and deploy our cloud-native SaaS solution. Your technical expertise, knowledge of wealth management and communication skills will be essential in translating complex platform capabilities into clear, actionable guidance that accelerates time-to-value for our customers.Your key tasksCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including implementation guides, API references, integration patterns, and best practices for client engineersDevelop sample code, reference architectures, and integration examples to accelerate client adoptionProvide hands-on technical support to client implementation teams, troubleshooting integration issues and advising on optimal approachesConduct technical discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their requirements and use casesDeliver compelling technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations showcasing platform capabilities to potential customersPartner with Sales teams during the pre-sales process to address technical questions, assess feasibility, and scope implementation effortsCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate client feedback, identify common integration challenges, and influence product roadmap prioritiesDesign and deliver technical enablement sessions and workshops for client teamsBuild reusable solution accelerators and templates that reduce implementation time and complexityStay current on platform capabilities, releases, and roadmap to effectively advise clients on upcoming featuresContribute to knowledge base articles, FAQs, and community resources that enable client self-serviceQualifications5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or client-facing technical roles for enterprise software or SaaS platformsStrong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, API integration, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred)Strong understanding of investment management systems, portfolio accounting, and asset servicing - experience with Investment Book of Record (IBOR), Order Management Systems (OMS), or related wealth/asset management platformsProven ability to create clear, comprehensive technical documentation for diverse technical audiencesExperience supporting enterprise clients through complex software implementations and integrationsExcellent presentation and demonstration skills, comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiencesFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and modern integration patternsKnowledge of CI/CD practices, containerization, and cloud-native architecturesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and resolve technical issuesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiencesCustomer-focused mindset with commitment to driving client success and satisfactionAbility to work effectively across time zones and with distributed teamsWillingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, workshops, and conferencesAdditional InformationWe realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.In Avaloq we are proud to embrace diversity and understand the success of our business is built on the power of different opinions, we are whole heartedly committed to fostering an equal opportunity environment and inclusive culture where you can be your true authentic self.We hire, compensate and promote regardless of origin, age, gender identity, sexual orientation or any other fantastic traits that make us all unique, we have done our best to write this advert in an inclusive and neutral way.Please be aware that we will not accept speculative CV submissions for any of our roles from recruitment agencies, and any unsolicited candidate submissions will be exempt from any payment expectations.
