Seeking a full-time RN for the Neonatal ICU, working 36 hours/week on day shifts with 3 x 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care. Evaluate diagnostic tests, assess patient needs and responses, and apply sound nursing judgment. Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administer medications, and collaborate on patient care plans. Guide ancillary staff and maintain professional nursing standards. Minimum qualifications: diploma, associate's, or bachelor’s degree in nursing, current RN license, BLS and NRP certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving tools is required. This role may involve handling sensitive information, ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.
