Together, let's create healthier communities now and for the generations to come.For more information please visit us online: School of HealthThe OpportunityIn this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting students throughout their professional placements by delivering high-quality, evidence-based education across diverse settings - including simulated, telehealth, internal, and external clinical environments. You will supervise and assess students, help them develop as confident and competent dietetic professionals, and contribute to the ongoing quality and innovation of clinical education within the Nutrition and Dietetics program.A key component of this position involves managing clients and athletes attending the Lifestyle and Performance Nutrition Clinic, including delivery of advanced sports nutrition services. You will work collaboratively with academic staff, industry partners, and the wider School of Health to enhance student learning experiences, support course delivery, and strengthen placement pathways.You Willsupport and supervise nutrition and dietetic students across simulated, telehealth, and clinical placements to develop job-ready graduates;manage client care within the Lifestyle and Performance Nutrition Clinic and oversee sports nutrition services for the Dolphins National Rugby League club;collaborate with academic staff to deliver evidence-based clinical education and contribute to program quality and accreditation activities; andbuild and maintain strong partnerships with placement providers, industry, and community stakeholders.About YouYou bring a strong background in clinical dietetic practice and education, underpinned by a commitment to student development and professional standards. You are passionate about evidence-based teaching, clinical excellence, and preparing students for diverse roles in contemporary healthcare settings.You enjoy working collaboratively, engaging with industry, and contributing to a vibrant, supportive academic environment.You Will PossessCompletion or near-completion of a PhD qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing or a minimum of ten years clinical experience as an accredited profession in the field of study;Current Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia and Accredited Sports Dietitian status with Sports Dietitians Australia;Demonstrated effectiveness as a clinical educator across a variety of placement settings (e.g., simulated, telehealth, internal, and external);Experience in delivering the full nutrition care process in client management;A track record of leadership in clinical placement coordination or student supervision;Strong links with relevant professional bodies, community groups, and industry partners;Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills that contribute to a positive and high-performing academic culture;Ongoing participation in professional development and a commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement.UniSC is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
