About The RoleMultiple permanent part-time (0.7FTE / 56 hours) opportunities available!Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.The role of Clinical Facilitator (Therapy Based Service) has the responsibility to support the spectrum of lifelong learning and professional development of nursing staff across West Moreton Health, including education deliverables in the Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM), Rehabilitation, and Complex Discharge wards at the Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services facility.About YouOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:clinical experience and contemporary knowledge relevant to the initial work allocation portfolio areas.skills and knowledge in developing, implementing and evaluating clinical education activities which support clinicians to deliver contemporary, and evidence-based care.advanced level of interpersonal and written communication skills to enable accurate, complete, and timely information transfer to clinicians in individual and group education settings to support patient-centred care delivery and staff's professional development.ability to act as a professional role model in supporting the professional development of others; applying evidence and best practice to patient care, establishing and maintaining relationships; and managing a range of tasks to support positive outcomes for the individual and workplace.ability to work effectively within both clinical and education teams to meet service imperatives within designated timeframes and resource allocations.Mandatory RequirementsVaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16About West Moreton HealthWest Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the southeast corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
