Expression of Interest welcome for an opportunity to step into a Clinical Nurse (Level 2) role within the operating theatre complex, at Sunnybank Private Hospital. (FT/PT welcomed)Our theatre complex, comprised of 7 operating suites, provides services across many specialties, General Surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Urology, Plastics & Max Fax. We are seeking a Clinical Nurse (Level 2) in the General specialty streamYour Responsibilities Will IncludeAs a Senior Clinical Nurse – Level 2 RN, you will assist in the operational management of the General Surgery Specialty within the operating theatres and provide clinical expertise to support the staff and growth of the general specialty. This will includeidentifying staffing training needs of the specialty – Generalsupporting new & experienced staff through preceptorshiporganising regular education opportunities, working with medical representativesworking with the stores / procurement team in following up on stock & back orders liaising with surgeons regarding equipment & consumables for casesworking within Sunnybank Perioperative leadership team towards positive outcomes for each patientadvocating for your specialty, surgeons & staffEssential Requirements Minimum 3 years working within general surgery role as Scrub / Scout Demonstrated ability to show leadership and the ability to work with a wide range of people in a team environment Highly developed interpersonal and communication skill Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development Knowledge of infection control principles and practices Knowledge of ACORN Standards & NHQSS Exceptional time management and organisational skills Positive drive to align with Healthscope values, We Care, We Do, We Strive, We’re a TeamIf you feel you meet the above criteria, please register your interest by applying below:Applications close: 28th November 2025To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
