The Department of Education is seeking a Clinical Nurse to fill a permanent part-time position (0.3 FTE or 22.8 hours per fortnight) in the Far North Queensland Region. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will provide nursing supervision, leadership and support for a team of Clinical Nurses, to ensure quality nursing services that ensure safe participation and access for Queensland State School students with health support needs. Using advanced critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills, they provide tailored support and supervision to our departmental nurses, breaking down barriers to enhance wellbeing and bridging the gap between health care and education.
