This role is key in generating robust scientific data to demonstrate product efficacy clinically for our innovative ingredients, as well as contributing to a deeper scientific understanding of skin, scalp, and hair biology through knowledge studies. The successful candidate will ensure that all studies adhere to the highest scientific, ethical, and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Research Strategy :Develop and implement comprehensive clinical study protocols for efficacy evaluations of new ingredients and cosmetic formulations, aligned with R&I and marketing objectives.Lead a team of clinical project managers in designing, driving and conducting exploratory clinical studies aimed at advancing our fundamental knowledge of skin, scalp, and hair biology.Oversee the end-to-end management of multiple clinical trials in France, from concept to final report.Build a strategy to select Contract Research Organizations (CROs), clinical sites, and external experts (e.g., dermatologists, trichologists) to ensure high-quality data collection and optimal study conduction.Monitor study progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks together with the team.Ensure compliance with all relevant L'Oréal internal guidelines, industry standards (e.g., GCP, ISO 14155 where applicable), and national/European regulations.Team Leadership & Collaboration:Lead and mentor a dedicated team responsible for clinical study execution and monitoring.Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including R&I teams to ensure that projects are meeting market needsAct as a key partner within the network of clinical teams in China, Singapore, Brazil, USA and Paris.Data Analysis & Reporting:Oversee data collection, validation, and statistical analysis processes and work closely with data management, statistical and quality teams to ensure the alignment of ways of working.Contribute to the results sharing of the different projects by supporting in stakeholder management and ensuring timely communication.Translate complex scientific data into clear and compelling communication for diverse audiences.Stay abreast of evolving clinical research guidelines, regulations, and best practices in France and the EU.Keep updated with new technology development to ensure the team uses forefront methodologies.QualificationsMaster's or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, Dermatology, Clinical Research).Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in clinical research, with a significant portion in a management role within the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.Proven expertise in designing, executing, and interpreting clinical studies related to skin, hair, or beauty products.In-depth knowledge of French and European regulatory landscapes for clinical research involving human subjects.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and external vendors.Strong leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken) is essential.Additional InformationContract Type: Full-TimeLocation: Aulnay-Sous-Bois Possible partial remote
