Our Managed Azure Databricks (MAD) platform provides a secure, compliant, and high-performing environment for data professionals to unlock the full potential of their data.As a Cloud & Databricks Platform Engineer, you will drive the development of MAD, ensuring seamless workspace provisioning, security enforcement, and automation. If Terraform, Azure, Databricks administration, and cutting-edge technologies excite you, this role will be a perfect fit.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and deliver solutions aligned to project requirementsDesign scalable, innovative solutions based on evolving business needsManage Databricks infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to optimize deployments and configurationsDeploy, configure, and maintain Databricks environments using TerraformBuild and enhance data workflows and pipelines within Databricks for optimal performance and reliabilityImplement Azure best practices for secure, compliant infrastructure in cloud environmentsSet up and enforce governance policies, including cluster policies and access controls, within DatabricksAutomate provisioning workflows and monitor service health to ensure efficient operationsApply hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions to streamline CI/CD integrationsDrive the implementation of monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detectionRequirementsA minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, automation, or related fields3-5 years of experience writing reusable Infrastructure as Code, preferably using Terraform2+ years of hands-on experience managing Databricks environments (workspace provisioning, cluster policies, access controls, governance)Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD pipelinesProficiency in scripting using Shell, Python, PowerShell, etc.Advanced knowledge of Azure PaaS services, such as Key Vault and Storage AccountsCloud expertise, including certifications like AZ-900 or AZ-104, or hands-on experience managing AWS/GCP environmentsProven ability to design secure, scalable infrastructure services and enforce cloud governance practicesExperience setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in cloud-based ecosystemsWe offerWe believe that the greatest strength of the company is its people.
