Our patented technology provides our large enterprise customers with the ability to solve complex data security problems with a paradigm shifting technology that can actually solve problems.About You:We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our cloud infrastructure and platform strategy.You will be a key technical leader responsible for shaping our cloud architecture vision—with AWS as the primary platform, while also bringing multi-cloud expertise (GCP, Azure) as a plus.Position Overview:This role requires someone who has built and scaled cloud-native systems from the ground up, guided engineering teams through architecture and modernization initiatives, and collaborated closely with IT Operations to ensure world-class observability, reliability, and performance across the platform.Key Responsibilities:Define and Own the Cloud Strategy: Drive the architectural vision for AWS-based platforms, ensuring scalability, security, cost efficiency, and operational resilience. Architect Cloud-Native Solutions: Design systems leveraging AWS services (EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Front, DynamoDB, S3, etc.) with strong foundations in networking, identity, and automation. Partner with IT Operations: Work closely with IT Ops to define and enforce best practices for logging, observability, and alerting—ensuring the platform is proactively monitored and issues are surfaced before they impact customers. Implement Observability Standards: Establish and evolve platform-wide standards for structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and dashboards using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana. Hands-On Leadership: Collaborate with engineers and SREs on architecture decisions, deployments, and production readiness. Mentor and Enable Teams: Promote a culture of shared ownership, empowering teams to understand, build, and operate resilient cloud-native services. Modernization & Migration: Lead the design and execution of cloud migration and modernization strategies, converting monolithic systems into microservices or serverless architectures. Set Guardrails and Best Practices: Define IaC standards (Terraform, AWS CDK), CI/CD pipelines, and security/compliance guidelines. Security-First Mindset — Knowledge of IAM best practices, encryption, compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR) and network security models. Continuous Improvement: Champion operational excellence, cost optimization, and automation throughout the entire delivery lifecycle. Evaluate Emerging Tech: Keep pace with new cloud services and recommend innovations that improve reliability, observability, and efficiency. Qualifications:AWS Expertise: 5+ years designing and deploying large-scale, production-grade AWS architectures (networking, compute, storage, IAM, security). Operational Mindset: Proven experience building observability and monitoring frameworks for complex distributed systems. IT Operations Collaboration: Strong background working with IT Ops or SRE teams to define strategies for logs, metrics, traces, and alerts. Hands-on Development Experience: Proficiency with microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. Infrastructure as Code: Advanced skills in Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation. Security Best Practices: Knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR). Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to guide teams, lead design reviews, and build technical excellence across engineering groups. Multi-Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with GCP and Azure platforms (a strong plus). Excellent Communication: Comfortable articulating architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
