Cloud Data Enigneer | B2B | Poland | Remote I'm currently looking for an experienced Cloud Data Engineer ready to take on new challenges in their career!My client is building the new operating system (O/S) for global finance. The company is growing fast, with $400B on the platform in 2025 and $1T in 2026. They are building "unified ledgers" with massive infrastructure (currently 20 million transactions per day, ready to scale up to 50 million). If you are looking for a challenging, greenfield/sandbox environment and working alongside experienced software engineers, this might be a role for you!Details: B2B - 100% remote - 7,600$ - 7,900$ per month (international invoice, no VAT)Cloud Data Engineer - Role:The role focuses on designing, optimising, and maintaining large-scale database environments, with particular emphasis on SQL performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimisation, database scalability, and cost-efficiency improvements.Cloud Data Engineer - Requirements:3–5+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL experience in production environments3–5+ years of experience with Snowflake or equivalent data lake/warehouse technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks)Strong expertise in SQL query optimisation, indexing, partitioning, and execution plan analysisIn-depth understanding of PostgreSQL internals (vacuum, checkpointing, WAL, MVCC, partitioning, etc.)Proficiency in database and warehouse performance tuning and cost optimisation techniquesExperience with DevOps practices for databases, including automation, monitoring, and CI/CD integration (liquibase)Hands-on experience with cloud-hosted database services (AWS RDS/Aurora, Snowflake SaaS)If you are interested in this role, please feel free to applyQuestions?
