Cloud Engineer (AWS) - Multiple OpeningsThe Role: As a Cloud Engineer, you will be one of the main gears of the deployment engine within our team. Solutions, projects, deep troubleshooting along with investigations will be your focus areas. If you are an engineer looking to learn and grow within cloud services, processes and methodologies then we have a place for you in our team.The key responsibilities of the role include:Honor and practice Well Architected Framework across all tasks and responsibilitiesResearch workloads for migrating it them to the cloud, with minimal interruption and impactParticipate in cloud migration projectsAssist in re-platform and re-factor of current cloud infrastructureAssist IT departments and teams with their cloud infrastructureParticipate in evaluation of deployments and creating a risk register of cloud deployments and resourcesParticipate in definition of fair use policies and best practices for cloud services while complying to the company’s standardsDrive requests for new technologies, services or solutions required from internal customersDeploy, document and orchestrate Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and Solutions for internal customers in compliance with the company’s frameworkFollow and provide training regarding new and current technologies and services usedHave an understanding of cloud costsMain requirements:University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline4+ years of cloud services experience on AWS cloudModerate knowledge in solution design and deployment projectsUnderstanding Well Architected FrameworkMethodical troubleshooting of issuesExperience in AWS technologies, services and ecosystemOrganisation, Documentation and Time Management skillsThe following will be considered an advantage:Experience in Linux OS and NetworkExposure to scripting languages such as Python or GoKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools, preferably HCLKnowledge of Terraform and AWS CloudFormationExperience with versioning tools such as gitBenefit from:Attractive remuneration package plus performance-based rewardPrivate health insuranceCorporate pension fundIntellectually stimulating work environmentContinuous personal development and international training opportunitiesThe Hiring Experience: What Awaits YouShow Your Skills – Online Technical ChallengeLet’s Connect – Intro Chat with Talent AcquisitionDeep Dive – First Interview with Your Future TeamFinal Connection – Final InterviewAll applications will be treated with strict confidentiality!
