We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in our FlexHub team.Your responsibilities would consist of:Designing, developing, managing and implementing cloud-based platforms, infrastructure and capabilities to support business applications (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and relevant technologies – ideally open source).Designing cloud platforms with security in mind, including implementing access control and data protection strategies.Providing technical guidance to IT teams and stakeholders on cloud-based systems and services.Driving up developer experience, enhancing ability to provision, configuring and deploying applications within cloud platforms.Enabling application development teams to manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure high performance.Optimizing cloud costs while maintaining performance and security.Supporting the automations of cloud operations using infrastructure-as-code and cloud native tooling.Implementing automation and DevSecOps practices for efficient cloud operations in a Microsoft Azure or GCP infrastructure and application implementation context.Providing capabilities for IT support and operations teams to monitor cloud systems, ensure up time, and responding to incidents and outages promptly. Providing training where required.Documenting processes and procedures related to cloud platforms.Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Staying updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices and integrating them into current systems and processes.Supporting incident resolution and bug fixing, working with application development and operations teams.Working in an agile team setup, meaning the team includes business domain colleagues, business analysts, developers and application operation experts.Participating in scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retrospectives) remotely, or in person.The skills and experience we would like you to have:Strong understanding of cloud architectures, services, and best practices, for OpenShift, Azure, GCP. Ability to recommend and implement CSP-independent cloud solutions.Experience in deploying and optimizing Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments. Ability to manage operators, CRDs and advanced resources within Kubernetes.Proficiency in the use of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Kustomize, Terraform or Ansible.Core competency in networking, both for cloud and on-premise implementations.Knowledge of Information Security protocols, tools, best practices, including TLS/certificates, OAuth2, and cryptographic best practices.
