Cloud Network Engineer (Oracle Cloud)

Our strengths have always been Commitment to Customer, Commitment to Colleagues, and Commitment to Community (CTC).We are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer with proven experience designing and implementing secure connectivity between Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Microsoft Azure.The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and support of VPN and hybrid network architectures ensuring high availability, performance, and security.🔧 Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Design of the VPN and Network ArchitectureDevelop a full technical design for the network topology between Azure and OCI.Define technology selection (IPSec VPN site-to-site, or FastConnect + ExpressRoute if required).Create IP addressing plans, subnets, routing tables, and network segmentation.Design redundancy and high availability (dual tunnels, failover regions).Establish encryption standards, firewall and security rules, and DNS resolution as needed.Deliver full architecture documentation including configuration diagrams and implementation plans.2️⃣ Installation and ConfigurationConfigure VPN gateways in both Azure and OCI.Set up IPSec tunnels, IKE policies, and routing between VNets and VCNs.Perform end-to-end connectivity testing and apply firewall/security policies.Ensure redundancy (active/standby or active/active) and deliver detailed documentation and handover.3️⃣ Operation and SupportProvide 24/7 monitoring of tunnel performance (availability, latency, packet loss).Respond to incidents within 1 hour and resolve within 8 hours.Manage key and certificate renewals, apply proactive alerts, and ensure continuous connectivity.💼 RequirementsStrong hands-on experience integrating Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with Microsoft Azure.Deep knowledge of network architecture, IPSec VPNs, BGP routing, and encryption protocols (IKEv2).Experience with ExpressRoute and FastConnect setup and management is a plus.Familiarity with firewall configuration, Azure NSGs, and OCI security lists.Experience in 24/7 operations and incident response environments.Excellent written and verbal communication in English.If you’re a cloud networking expert ready to take on a challenging integration project, we’d love to connect!
