Cloud Security Engineer

The Role:We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with experience on AWS, to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have an essential role in ensuring the information security of our business. You will be working in a team that is designing and building resilient and secure Cloud environments that proactively prevent security threats.The main responsibilities of the position include:Design and build resilient Cloud infrastructures that are protected against security threatsDevelop and assess Cloud security solutions to secure systems, databases and networksConduct assessment and make recommendations to ensure that appropriate controls are in placeGain insight into security incidents and threats by monitoring/analyzing logs and performing vulnerability assessmentsParticipate in efforts that shape the company’s security policies, procedures and standards for use in Cloud environmentsCreate technical and managerial level security reports for Cloud-based applications and infrastructureImplement and tests network and security Disaster Recovery procedures to ensure business continuityMonitor use of sensitive data and regulates access to safeguard informationEnsure the confidentiality and integrity of data during transmission, storage and processingReview violations of security procedures and discusses procedures with violators to ensure they are not repeatedProvide support to end users regarding network and security related issuesMain requirements:BSc/MSc in Information Security or any other related fieldMinimum 1 year working experience in Information Security, with proven focus in Cloud SecurityDeep technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
