The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty. The AI Security CSA role is designed to help customers secure their AI and cloud environments while driving adoption of Microsoft security solutions. The purpose and impact areas include: 1. Role Vision & Purpose Protect Cloud AI Platforms and Applications: The primary goal is to safeguard AI workloads and multi-cloud environments by leveraging Microsoft Defender for Cloud and related security solutions. Enable Zero Trust Architecture: Guide customers in implementing Zero Trust principles across their AI and cloud ecosystems. Drive Security ACR and Usage: Focus on accelerating consumption of E5 security capabilities, XDR, and other advanced security products. 2. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Security Assessments (ESA): Ensure customers undergo ESA to plan secure adoption of AI and cloud services. Commit-to-Close Execution: Work closely with STU partners to close security opportunities and deliver enhanced services. Incident Response Support: Provide expertise in threat investigation, digital forensics, and attacker containment when needed. Compliance & Governance: Help customers meet regulatory and governance requirements for AI workloads. 3. Skills & Competencies Security Product Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft security stack (Defender, Sentinel, Entra, etc.). Consultative & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and translate security needs into actionable solutions. Technical Intensity: Proficiency in modern SecOps, KQL, and AI security best practices. 4. Impact on Customers Secure Migrations: Enable secure migration of workloads to Azure and multi-cloud environments. Enhanced Services Delivery: Support customers in achieving security milestones and mitigating risks in AI adoption. Feedback Loop: Provide product feedback to improve Microsoft security offerings. Drive Security Adoption & Consumption Accelerate ACR for Microsoft security solutions, especially Defender for Cloud and Sentinel. Promote E5 Security and XDR usage across customer environments. 2. Secure AI & Multi-Cloud Environments Focus on Azure and multi-cloud security posture management (CSPM). Implement Zero Trust architecture for AI workloads and cloud platforms. 3. Compliance & Governance Guide customers on regulatory compliance and governance for AI and cloud security. Support Enterprise Security Assessments (ESA) to ensure readiness and risk mitigation. 4. Technical Leadership & Delivery Lead technical engagements to secure AI transformation at scale. Deliver solution plays like Modern SecOps, XDR operations, and KQL-based analytics. Provide incident response support when needed. 5. Skilling & Certifications Maintain proficiency in Microsoft security stack (Defender, Sentinel, Entra). Complete certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, or AZ-500. Engage in continuous learning through role immersion programs and technical workshops. 6. Customer Engagement & Influence Act as a trusted advisor for AI security, influencing architecture decisions. Collaborate with CSAMs and STU teams to close security opportunities and deliver value. Share best practices and IP within global CSA communities.QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in: o Cloud/infrastructure technologies o IT consulting/support o Systems administration o Network operations o Software development/support o Technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting Preferred Qualifications Education & Experience o Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in the above domains o OR Master’s Degree AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, architecture, or consulting Security Certifications SC-100: Cybersecurity Architect Expert SC-200: Security Operations Analyst AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer Associate Core Skills & Competencies Security Product Expertise: Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra Consultative & Problem-Solving Skills Delivery & Communication Skills Technical Intensity: Ability to work with KQL, XDR, and modern SecOps practices Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
