Cloud Support Engineer

As a Cloud Support Engineer for our client in Hengelo, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support across cloud, desktop, and Microsoft-based environments. The role focuses on maintaining a stable IT landscape while supporting end-users, resolving incidents, and ensuring smooth operation of cloud services.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1st and 2nd line support to Dutch-speaking users for Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Azure-related issues.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to system performance, cloud connectivity, user access, and security.Manage user accounts, licensing, and resource provisioning within Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure Portal.Support and optimize Windows 11 environments, including updates, security configurations, and device management.Implement and maintain Azure cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage, security policies, and networking.Monitor system health, performance, and service availability using Azure and Microsoft tools.Work closely with the infrastructure and cloud teams to escalate complex cases and deploy improvements.Ensure all work adheres to company security guidelines and best practices for cloud and endpoint management.Document solutions, procedures, and configurations to support continuous improvement of IT services.Technical EnvironmentOperating System: Windows 11Cloud Platform: Microsoft AzureProductivity Suite: Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune)Tools: Azure Portal, M365 Admin Center, Endpoint Manager/Intune, Active Directory, PowerShell (preferred)Ideal CandidateFluent in Dutch (spoken & written).Experience supporting Microsoft cloud technologies in a service desk or cloud operations environment.Strong problem-solving skills, customer support mindset, and ability to work independently.
