Join a passionate global team driving front-line innovation in AI, aerospace, security, and beyond!As a CloudOps Engineer you’ll collaborate on cutting-edge projects that transform machine learning into an engaging adventure, working hands-on with the latest tech alongside experts from Romania & France.In terms of department details, the newcomer will be part of the Engineering Support Team, a transversal discipline which offers support to engineers from all the other local departments, in different projects. Another advantage that can be leveraged by the newcomer is the fact that he/she will have the opportunity to join an International DevOps Community with more than 400 engineers from all around the world.Required competencies/experience:Solid hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administrationExperience with public cloud providers: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud PlatformUnderstanding of at least one programming language (Java, Python)Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automation toolsExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with configuration management and IaC (Ansible, Terraform)Proficient in scripting (Shell, Bash, or PowerShell)Understanding of security protocols (including SSL)Experience with version control systems (SVN, Git)Would be a plus:Experience or familiarity with event-driven architectures or Java-based microservicesUnderstanding of Service-Oriented Architecture concepts in operational contextsExperience with artifact repositories (Archiva, Nexus, Artifactory)Experience with code quality and analysis tools (SonarQube)Familiarity with container platforms (OpenShift)Behavioral skills:Strong team playerAbility to coach on DevOps tools / DevOps best practicesTeamwork and knowledge sharingBe autonomous and proactive on your tasksGood communication skillsLead technological survey activitiesLanguages: English (Mandatory C1); French (nice to have)Connect with Andreea Burcea, Talent Acquisition Partner who is eager to explore together with you this exciting opportunity.At Thales, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
