Job Description SummaryThe “CNC Post-processor” will maintain existing Siemens NX Postprocessors and develop new functionality as the business drives towards Model-based Manufacturing (MBM). Join us and find an opportunity to shape the future of flight.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will:Learn current GE Aerospace in-house developed CNC post-processor structure and modernize for next generationDrive standardization in CNC post-processors structureWork with Siemens to drive GE Aerospace expectationsParticipate in on-machine debug process if neededIdentify, develop, evaluate, and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long range engineering needsProvide technical consultation on product problems throughout the business including supplier and field supportLead and provide the key technical direction to large projects with critical business impactMaintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in own technical specialty to anticipate, apply, adapt, or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costsSupport other GE businesses, internal and external customers, and suppliers as requiredProvide technical consultation to cross-functional teams throughout the business to improve or resolve manufacturing, product center, supplier, or field issues.Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation andpresentation of technical data to internal and external GE customers using reports, records, and lettersPrepare invention disclosures to protect technology that gives the business competitive advantage, as well as protecting the intellectual property rights of the company.Provide technical guidance, direction, and training to new and experienced engineers, specialists, technicians, and co-ops.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a highly skilled engineer with expertise in CNC post-processor development, Siemens NX CAM programming, and controller systems, demonstrating strong technical leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to driving innovation and standardizationRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university.Developing CNC post-processors with Siemens NX Post Builder, NX Post Configurator and handwritten tcl posts.Good level of written and oral communication skills in English.Preferred QualificationsLarge scale, multi-site CNC post-processor supportFanuc, Sinumerik and/or Okuma controllersExtending TCL with C/C++Siemens NX CAM programming of complex aerospace parts (turning, milling, multi-task machining etc.)Familiarity with on-machining probing macros integration in CNC digital kits (Renishaw, Blum, Siemens etc.)Aware about Teamcenter usage/navigationAware about Siemens NX Machine/Tool Library structureGE Aerospace Türkiye Offers You The FollowingBeing part of a dynamic global teamHybrid working model opportunityFlexible benefit planEnhanced paternity leaveHealth insurance with wide coverage including spouse and childrenFitness BenefitLife AssuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral ProgramAt GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.
