Our more than 6,000 employees are proud to work at our state-of-the-art sawmills and other facilities, including: manufacturing, custom wood-framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry, and other operations.Currently, our Windows division in Red Bluff, California, a growing, major window and door manufacturer with manufacturing facilities located in Alabama, California, and Wisconsin, is seeking a qualified CNC Programmer to work collaboratively with our engineering and production teams.About The PositionAnalyze engineer drawings and work orders to develop CNC programs for multiple axis machining operationsOrder necessary tooling and creating descriptions of tooling and fixturing requirementsDetermine and utilize proper speed and feed rates for varying materialsDefine reference point locations and origin offsetsCreate variable based programs using basic math, geometry, trigonometry, logic, and conditional statementsPerform first article inspections and other quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specificationsWork closely with engineering and production on new product developmentAdjust tool paths and organize machining operations to optimize production and efficiencyBe able to learn and use efficiently multiple CAD/CAM software platforms for a variety of machinesTrain other team members how to properly and safely operate/maintain CNC machines and programsOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience working in a manufacturing setting is requiredAt least 3 years experience using CAD/CAM softwareAssociates Degree in related field is preferredAble to interpret engineering and production drawingsExperience with fenestration products, especially aluminum and wood components, is preferredExperience with Homag, Biesse, Weeke, Elumatec, Joseph CNC equipment desiredAbility to work independently and follow directionStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skillsStrong work ethic, ability to self-start, and results-oriented mindsetWhy Join Our Team?Because this is more than an invitation, it's a commitment to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth to everyone!
