CNF Deployment Engineer – Telecom

Where no two days are the same.Your Role:As a CNF Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and managing Cloud-Native Functions (CNFs) on Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP) clusters within telecom environments. You will ensure high availability, scalability, and security of CNF workloads, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and automate deployment processes.You will:Deploy and manage CNFs on Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters;Ensure scalability and availability using Kubernetes features (HPA, Cluster Autoscaler, Load Balancers);Optimize resource usage and performance of CNF applications;Monitor CNF health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch;Troubleshoot issues in production and pre-production environments;Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams;Implement security best practices (RBAC, secrets, vulnerability scanning);Manage SSL certificates and networking components (Ingress, Routes);Maintain documentation and share deployment knowledge;Automate deployments using CI/CD tools and Helm/Kustomize templates.Your Profile:You bring strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in deploying CNF's in telecom environments, along with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.You have:3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters;Proficiency in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu);Experience with Docker and containerized environments;Solid understanding of NFV and cloud-native design patterns;Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI);Proficiency in Helm and Kubernetes deployment tools;Experience with image/chart repositories (Nexus, Harbor);SSL certificate management and networking configuration skills;Familiarity with Kubernetes networking (CNI), service meshes (Istio, Calico);Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana);Knowledge of Kubernetes Operators, CRDs, and security features;Networking knowledge (VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing);Scripting skills (Shell, Python);Strong troubleshooting abilities in live environments.Preferred:Experience with Telco CNF deployments in production;Knowledge of OpenShift Operators and advanced OCP features;Certifications: CKA, Red Hat OpenShift Specialist, or equivalent.Soft Skills:Strong communication and collaboration abilities;Self-motivated and proactive;Agile mindset and attention to detail.WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?Collaborative and Inclusive Culture: You’ll work alongside passionate engineers striving to provide the best service to our clients and communities with shared interests and identities, in a dynamic environment involving teams spread across different global locations;Flexibility and Growth: Enjoy flexible working hours and access to a wide range of professional development opportunities, including training programs, learning platforms and certifications.
