Discover more at http://www.javelincommodities.com/.The RoleThe role is set-up within Javelin CEE regional structure with direct reporting to Head of CEE and group level reporting to Operations Manager in Javelin London office. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure safe and timely transfer of goods to customers and efficient operations at ports and stockyards across the region.Key Responsibilities Include:Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders (customers, shipping agents, port authorities and service providers)Overseeing logistics, ports and transport servicesResolving complaints and issues regarding the supply chainSafeguarding of commodities through providing guidance on and taking preventive measures, to ensure that commodities are preserved in good conditionSupervising inventory managementOverseeing quality control and resolving customers' claimsPlanning and management of port and stockyard operationsSupervising, monitoring, and reporting the performance of the shipping agents, port operators, rail carries and other ancillary contractors and ensure efficient operationsContributing to the collection and analysis of data through market analysis, research and networking with colleagues within the organization and key external stakeholdersEnsuring proper screening and blending operations, optimizing yieldsRequirementsSkills and Experience Required:Fluent in both Polish and EnglishSelf-motivated, proactive candidate with 3+ years' experience in a similar position. A strong work ethic is required to help drive the team forwardClear communication skills, with a history of coordinating with a range of external & internal stakeholders to resolve any issues smoothlyAbility to work collaboratively across locations, with a focused interaction with Krakow office and London headquartersOrganizational skillsClear communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage and prioritise workload across time zones and judge priority and urgency of requests and issuesAbility to deliver difficult messages to both client and colleaguesExcellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressureBenefitsAnnual discretionary bonus Private medical insurance
