comAbout The Surface Designer SearchThe Surface Pattern Designer is responsible for designing dinnerware, flatware, cookware, glassware, coffee and tea accessories, kitchen tools and gadgets, and other tabletop and housewares products, as part of a collaborative creative team, in a corporate environment.

About YouYou're either located in Los Angeles, or willing to move there as this position is based in Los AngelesYou've got 1-3 years of surface design experience, in Tabletop and/or Housewares productsYou've got experience working in a busy design studio environmentYou have demonstrated illustration skills, proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, MacYou are creative, trend-minded and fashion-forwardin designYou have applicable skills including repeat pattern experience, trend awareness, color theory knowledge and graphic design/production experienceIdeally you have hand painting skillsAbout The InterviewYou'll have the opportunity to speak with Gibson creative team members, including the hiring manager.
