Coating Inspector

we are looking for coating inspector who has experience in piping coating projects , responsibly: Inspect surface preparation to ensure compliance with project specificationsand industry standards.Verify cleanliness levels (e.g., SSPC/NACE/ISO) before coating application.Monitor ambient conditions such as temperature, humidity, and dew point toensure suitable coating conditions.Check and record surface profile measurements using test equipment likereplica tape or profilometers.Inspect coating application for uniformity, coverage, and adherence to specifieddry film thickness (DFT).Conduct wet film thickness (WFT) checks during application to ensure properbuild-up.Perform holiday (pinhole) testing using high-voltage or low-voltage detectorsbased on coating system.Review coating material batch numbers, shelf life, and storage conditions forquality assurance.Coordinate and communicate with contractors, applicators, and QA/QC teamsto resolve issues.Maintain detailed daily inspection reports and photographic evidence of coatingactivities.Witness or perform adhesion testing (pull-off, cross-cut, or tape tests) asrequired.Monitor proper mixing, thinning, and application methods of coating materialsper manufacturer’s guidelines.Ensure compliance with client, project, and international coating standards(e.g., ISO 12944, NACE, SSPC).Participate in inspections with third-party, client, or governmentrepresentatives.Assist in final acceptance and handover documentation by preparing InspectionTest Records (ITRs) and coating dossiers.
