Support of IT infrastructure and workplace-related issues in Germany at the 2nd level, both for Hamburg and other offices and terminalsLocal support in all IT workplace-related matters (setting up workplaces, issuing IT equipment, solving workplace-related problems, etc. )Mediation of support requests between the Global Service Desk in Hungary (1st level support) and the Global Infrastructure Team in Baar (3rd level support) or, if necessary, with external providersProvision of support and project services via various communication channels (phone/e-mail/VDI/Teams/Webex) as well as personal on-site support.
Use diagnostic methods and targeted inquiry to identify problems and find the best solutionStep-by-step support of customers in solving problems and providing precise information on IT products and servicesDocumentation of events, problems and their solutions in the ITSM system (ServiceNow)Tracking and updating customer status and information in ITSM and with customersManagement and maintenance of customers' hardware installation and preparation (CMDB as part of ITSM).
Support of the Global Infrastructure Team in projects related to specific German requirementsImplementation of small IT projects in Germany, either as part of the team or independentlyParticipation in the 24/7 support team for the terminals in Germany (four-week on-call service) Qualifications:
Degree in IT or comparable professional experience with at least 3 years in supporting complex IT environmentsKnowledge of ITIL/ITSM, Microsoft environments (Windows 10/11, M365, MS Teams), VDI, LAN/WAN and ideally AzureExperience working with video conferencing systems (Teams, Webex) and phone systems (PBX, Cisco, Jabber)Very good knowledge of German and English, other languages are an advantageExcellent communication and problem-solving skills, analytical strength, as well as the ability to diagnose and solve technical problemsWillingness to learn new technologies and expand knowledge to other areasProactive, customer-oriented way of working, flexibility, willingness to travel and ability to work in a teamWorking independently, even under pressure and taking responsibility for results Personal Characteristics:
