Pick Team Leader - Night shiftYour Impact This is your opportunity to join a state-of-the-art warehouse operation and evolve and cultivate your leadership role that is guided by customer-centricity, continuous improvement and supported by amazing people and best practice process. Right now, our Auckland Distribution Centre is looking for a Pick Team Leader (Nights) to help lead the Nightshift Pick team (up to 25 reports) to maximize productivity and pick accuracy, to deliver consistent and high levels of service to our customers.

This role takes accountability for the picking, replenishment and order movements of our finished goods within the warehouse as well as: Leading the Health and Safety of your teamManaging staff performance and trendsTaking control of the day-to-day operational requirements of allocating resources & their cost effectiveness Product pick accuracy performance reviews Annual leave monitoring Pretty much everything that keeps things active and dynamic! This role works 5 x 9-night shift from 9pm – 6am, predominately Monday to Friday with flexibility any day of the week including planned and scheduled weekends.

About YouWe're looking for someone with a great eye for detail with strong communication skills and a hands on approach. You will be motivated to learn and grow within the role. Planning is a massive part of this role so you'll know how to set clear expectations for your team, can correct them when they’re off course and of course reward them when they perform!You must have:

2-5 years of leadership experience in a large-scale logistics or manufacturing environment Strong process skills with high levels of accuracyProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and experience using SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and experience working in an automated environment are highly desirable A strong and unwavering commitment to a zero-harm safety culture is essential.
