Job Description

Freelance Graphic/Production Designer (On-Site, Beauty/Retail)Location: El Segundo, California (In-Office 3 Days/Week)Duration: 3+ MonthsWe’re looking for a Graphic/Production Designer to join our creative team on a freelance basis. This role is production-heavy and focuses on executing clean, brand-aligned design assets across POS, print, and digital platforms—with a strong emphasis on beauty and cosmetics. Candidates must demonstrate experience working in the beauty or cosmetics space, with portfolios that reflect a strong understanding of category aesthetics, packaging, and in-store presentation. Familiarity with makeup and skincare brand standards is essential—this is not a generalist design role.

We're looking for someone who understands the nuances of beauty branding, tone, and visual merchandising. RequirementsKey Responsibilities: Production-Heavy Design Work: Execute standard production tasks with precision and efficiency across multiple channels Platform Versatility: Design for point-of-sale displays, print collateral, and digital assets, adapting layouts to each format Beauty-Focused Creative: Support visual storytelling for makeup and skincare brands, ensuring a modern, clean, and premium look Brand Consistency: Maintain visual cohesion by working within established brand guidelines and systems What We’re Looking For Beauty Industry Experience:

Portfolio showcasing relevant work in makeup and skincare is strongly preferred Excellent Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for layout, typography, and color to maintain high-quality output Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Strong Production Skills: Confident in prepping files for print and digital release, and comfortable working within tight deadlines Collaborative Mindset: Able to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-output environment This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the beauty/retail space, working with a supportive and forward-thinking creative team.
