We believe that small businesses need support now more than ever, and that Odeko is uniquely positioned to provide that support.Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour DOESchedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm (On call for Weekends)Job description:Coffee Equipment Service TechnicianWe are in search of a Coffee Equipment Service Technician covering New England. You will be responsible for working on and repairing coffee equipment including espresso machines, water filtration systems, and other associated equipment. The work will primarily consist of driving throughout New England conducting emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment installation.What your day will look like:Drive to customer locations to troubleshoot and repair coffee equipment on sitePerform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installationsIdentify damage, mechanical defects, electrical failures, and water leaksTroubleshoot and repair damage or defectsMaintain a log of all found issuesMaintain part inventory levels in company-provided service vehicleServe as the face of the company by providing a positive, professional demeanor and imageMay perform other duties as assignedAdhere to any and all safety protocols to include but not limited to vehicle monitoring programs.Observe and abide by all company policiesQualifications:Reliable, accountable, and professional demeanor under high pressure situations.Proficiency with tools, machinery, electricity, and plumbing requiredAbility to reach schematics is preferredPrevious coffee industry/mechanical experience preferredStrong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skillsDesire to share knowledge and ability to teach othersCarry and transport up to 60 lbs repetitively, participate in physical activity moving equipment around and working in tight spaces, sit or stand for extended periodsSuccessful working independently with little supervision and effectively collaborate with our teamBasic computer software experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).Availability to occasionally work weekends and work on call hoursAvailability to occasionally work longer than the standard eight hour shiftMust have a valid and current driver’s license issued within the United States, no major violations in the past 3 years, and be able to drive a company vehicle.Must be able to read, write & understand/speak EnglishWhy You’ll Love it Here:Comprehensive and affordable medical, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time offOvertime and holiday payGreat work cultureDevelopment opportunities401k matching program so you can invest in your futureOdeko is a tech startup committed to bringing large scale resources to independently owned small food businesses.
