Job SummaryThe International Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our international subsidiaries and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. This position will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication and analytical skills, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.

Duties And Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AnalysisReports to Senior VP Finance-International ControllerOversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for international subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with USGAAP and local GAAPDevelop and maintain robust financial reporting processes and controlsConduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performancePrepare and present financial reports to senior managementControlling & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policiesManage the annual audit process for international subsidiariesImplement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assetsMonitor and manage foreign currency exposureManage transfer pricing documentation and complianceMonitor cash and funding balances of the international entitiesHandle local statutory filings and reportingEnsure Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) complianceProcess Improvement & SystemsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes and systemsOptimize the use of ERP systems and other financial toolsDrive the implementation of best practices in financial managementTeam Leadership & CollaborationManage and mentor a team of finance professionals, maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employeesCollaborate with internal local finance teams and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordinationAct as a key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.

Manage the relationship with local authorities and service providersEducational & Experience Requirements Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field Ideal candidate has 10 years+ of experience in field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Previous experience as a manager, proven ability to manage and develop a team Excellent computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Proficiency with accounting software - knowledge of Microsoft Navision a plus Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Fluency in English is essential; fluency in French, German, Spanish is desirable.
