We pride ourselves on our inclusive values and this is reflected in the way we conduct our business with all stakeholders.About This RoleThis is a rare opportunity for an experienced Collections Officer to join a well-established team initially on a temporary basis to cover parental leave but with the possibility of permanency.The successful applicant will assist our Senior Collectors and be tasked with getting the best outcomes for our clients.Key Duties IncludeInitiating contact with our client's debtors to recover outstanding debts through calls, emails and letters.Managing correspondence with debtors and clients to ensure all parties are regularly updated.Negotiating the best outcomes to resolve outstanding debts.Maintaining accurate records of accounts and tracking payment history on our internal system.Addressing disputes or issues relating to outstanding debts.About YouOur ideal candidate will have had some exposure to collections in the past but may be looking to build on their experience. Career growth is on offer for the right candidate. The successful applicant will also:Comply with all internal collections policies and procedures (with intensive training provided).Be highly organised with good time management skills.Have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with all stakeholders.Have experience in collections or credit management or transferable skills from a professional setting.Be able to produce a valid police clearance prior to offer.An SA Collections License will be highly regarded.What We OfferNCI provides a wonderful work environment with refurbished offices, hybrid (office/work from home) opportunities, additional leave, paid parental leave, volunteer days and more!
