Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in an Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent discipline5+ years post-qualification experience with tier one contractorsExcellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standardsKey Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Lead / Contracts Manager / Project Director, your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to;Agreeing project objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfactionRepresenting the interests of the client and CollenResponsible for the successful deliveryof project throughleadership, management, technicaland engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle of the projectProviding advice on the management ofprojectsOrganising the various professional people working on a projectMonitoring the workflow of sub-contractors ensuring guidelines are maintainedMonitor construction to ensure quality of workmanship and materialsCarrying out risk assessmentsWork to resolve critical site issuesEnsuring all the aims of the project are metCo-ordinate project activities in accordance with company QualitySystem, Standard QualityProcedures and Engineering SpecificationsEnsure Design Team provide required information on timeUsing IT systems to keep track of people and progressAssisting the Project QS with the accounting, costing and billing to ensure the project is on budgetAgreeing programme and delivering the project in accordance with sameChairing site meetings to include sub-contractor progress meetings and recording required minutesChairing Internal and Client Meeting as required by Project Lead / Contracts Manager and recording required minutesEnsuring the project is running in accordance to the programme and on budgetCompleting Weekly, Bi-weekly and Monthly Reports as part of Project developmentTracking Schedule Status and reporting accordinglyTracking Project Controls and monitoring schedule and costs for the ProjectTracking and controlling Material & Plant requirements for the ProjectTracking Change Management on the Project and reporting accordinglyEnsuring an efficient construction siteDelivering projects with the highestqualityLeading Safety Leadership to include walks, Area Owner Management etcWorking with the Health & Safety Department ensuring safe construction at all times.

Strong time management and communication skills are essential to this role, as well as computer literacy and the ability to prepare reports and administer the necessary paperwork.
