Colombia - Administrador/a de ProyectoJoin to apply for the Colombia - Administrador/a de Proyecto role at ReliefWebOverviewCOOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale is a laic, independent, and Italian humanitarian organization fighting all forms of poverty.Since **** it has been present in 33 countries of Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.COOPI is funded by the European Union (ECHO) and other international donor agencies.ProjectProject URABÁ-PAIS: Protection, humanitarian assistance and socio-economic integration for migrants, refugees and victims of the conflict in the Department of Antioquia, Colombia.The project is implemented in the municipalities of Necoclí, Turbo and Apartadó.ResponsibilitiesFinancial ManagementGuarantee efficient, transparent, and compliant budget use.Prepare and execute periodic financial plans and accounting in coordination with the Project Coordinator.Ensure compliance with contractual conditions imposed by the Donor.Use COOPI financial tracking tools for planning and updating expenditures.Verify correct registration and eligibility of expenses.Monitor consistency between planned budget and real execution, alerting deviations and proposing adjustments.Document and support expenses with receipts, invoices, and justifications.Coordinate with implementing partners' financial teams for harmonization and coherence of procedures.Provide training to field teams and project partners on administrative and financial aspects.Human Resources ManagementSupervise the administrative and HR aspects of staff hiring.Provide technical support to the Project Manager for correct application of COOPI procedures, donor requirements, Colombian legislation, and compliance with the current salary table.Participate in decision of adopted administrative measures in collaboration with coordination.Verify and supervise national staff vacation taken.Accompany and evaluate national staff.Financial Reports and Project AuditsPrepare all financial reports in accordance with COOPI and Donor procedures, respecting contractual deadlines.Process all documents required by the head office or coordinate accounting, finance or HR.Organize, with the Project Manager, any supervisory mission of the Country Administration and/or audit.Implement internal control mechanisms to minimize financial and administrative risks.Support consolidation of financial and administrative documentation for internal and external audits.Coordinate with project partners the timely and correct delivery of financial reports to guarantee the cash flow per component.QualificationsEssential - 30 pointsUniversity degree (bachelor or master) or equivalent experience and training in the economic-financial, development cooperation or international relations, obtained at least 3 years ago – 10 pointsAt least three years of experience in administrative and financial management of international cooperation projects, with responsibilities in results and report preparation – 10 pointsKnowledge of administrative and financial management of projects financed by AICS and/or other international donors – 6 pointsProficiency in Microsoft Office and main communication tools – 2 pointsExperience in management/supervision and evaluation of staff, and relation with donors, agencies and partners – 2 pointsDesirable - 10 pointsOther graduate titles in the international cooperation field considered a plus – 2 pointsDesirable knowledge of English – 2 pointsExperience in Colombia, preferably in Urabá and/or in conflict or post-conflict contexts, is desirable – 6 pointsRelevant SkillsExcellent organizational skills, flexibility, strong spirit of initiative and autonomy.Stress resilience, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Capacity to work in political and security sensitive contexts and in a multicultural environment.Excellent listening, negotiation and communication skills.Interest and motivation to work in an NGO respecting its values and principles.How to ApplySend your resume, academic and work credentials, and cover letter to ******.Applications will be accepted until 23 Oct *******:59.Late applications will not be considered.Only pre-selected candidates will be contacted.Applications that do not meet the required information will not be considered.For full job terms, click ?usp=sharing.Job details: Country: Colombia; City: Turbo (Urabá – Antioquia); Type: Contract; Function: Project Management and Information Technology; Career category: Administration/Finance; Years of experience: 3-4 years.#J-*****-Ljbffr
