Job Description

Job Purpose: Responsible for marketing solicitation of new corporate relationships for both Assets & Liabilities. Directly responsible for handling corporate borrowing portfolio growth, quality & profitability. Duties and Responsibilities: a) Monitor credit quality of portfolio for risk recognition & assigning proper risk rating for each relationship. b) Develop marketing plan to identify corporate relationships within the accepted industries. Solicit new corporate relationships. Ensure quality of portfolio is satisfactory. c) Directly responsible to manage corporate customers portfolio & other relationship manager portfolio. (Number of relationships and average size of the portfolio to be agreed with the Team Leader.

)d) Develop marketing plan to identify corporate relationships within the accepted industries. Solicit new corporate relationships. Ensure quality of portfolio is satisfactory. e) Be highly responsive to customer needs and ensure high level of satisfaction of Clients in portfolio. f) Ensure quality of portfolio is maintained, with no direct credit losses. g) Maximize profitability, achieve business growth and targeted market share as per objectives. h) Pro-act to changes in marketplace. i) Ensure all documentation is valid and complete in assigned portfolio. j) Provide competitive market information.

k) Achieve consistent growth in profits and business ensuring quality assets, in a highly competitive environment. l) Participate in the team's strategy planning. m) Interact with the Credit Risk Management and Advances Division to resolve their queries regarding credit proposals. n) Prepare credit packages if the Relationship Officer and Credit Analyst are not available. o) Monitor the performance of assigned employees; provide opportunities for their growth and development. p) Handle the Team Leader's responsibilities when he/she is on leave, business trips and other instances as agreed.

q) Assist HCBG/ TL with various management reports in order to be put on the path for career growth. r) Perform any other duties or responsibilities consistent with the role as assigned by management. s) Responsible for all relationships within his/her portfolio including but not limited to the money laundering, financing of terrorism and sanctions risks associated with each customer. t) Always acts in the best interest of CBI to highlight any concerns related to a customer’s personal and / or financial behaviors and activities.

u) Responsible for ensuring that all actions required by Internal / External Audit are completed in a timely manner; and where any actions are passed their agreed due date, these should have explicit and minute approvals from the CEO. v) Takes ownership of exiting and / or restricting business relationships with existing, new clients or categories of clients where required, to avoid additional risk within own portfolio and across Segment books in general. w) Completes any actions required in relation to External Compliance; CBUAE and / or Compliance requests / interactions in line with the agreed timelines.

x) Manages any actions and requests received by Internal compliance, in adherence to SOP, Policy, DOA, Corporate Governance and Brand guidelines against all agreed timeframes. In cases managed outside of the deadline, validation of all resolutions must be sought by the Head of Centralized Controls & Governance. y) Responsible for ensuring both the quality of the client and all documentation through the Onboarding stages, to ensure minimal accounts are exited within the first 6 months. Education: • Bachelors in Statistics or Accounting. Experience:

• Minimum 8 year's experience in corporate banking, preparing proposals, performing customer analysis, developing and implementing marketing plans, handling a wide range of issues pertaining to credit proposals, reviewing, managing assigned portfolio and employees.
