Purpose of the Role:Manage end-to-end deal process, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of deal financial and business proposals for new business and/or renewal opportunities. Acting as project manager for the deals, the Commercial Desk Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Analytics team, Commercial Finance, Resource Planning Specialist, Business Development team in the market, etc.) and work closely with the Client Success Team to drive successful deal outcomes. What You’ll Do :End-to-end Deal ManagementCoordinate with cross-functional teams, manage deal timelines and deliverables (deal financial and standardized business proposal) to ensure timely closure and quality outcomesWork closely with the Client Success Team to understand the client needs & expectations Provide support to the Client Success Team as necessary in client negotiations Business Proposal DevelopmentDevelop and deliver standardized, high quality business proposals in collaboration with Client Success Team, ensuring proposals meet both client requirements and company profitability objectives.Review and check the proposal deck to ensure accuracy of information Vendor Management for External Studies/Surveys:Engage and collaborate with external vendors to commission studies/surveys or market research required to support deal development or validate assumptions / business proposal.Manage vendor relationships, including scope definition, budget oversight, timeline coordination to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.Integrate vendor insights into deal proposals to strengthen client pitches and ensure data-driven decision makingProcess Improvement and Standardization:Identify opportunities to streamline the deal desk process, improving efficiency and scalability.Contribute to the development and maintenance of deal templatesWhat will make you successful:Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related fields.Min. 5 years of experience in commercial desk, commercial operation, consulting services or a related roleProven track record of managing complex deals or projects involving cross-functional teamsExperience working with client-facing/teams to develop proposals or negotiate contractsExperience working with vendors for market research/survey Strong proficiency at min. in Excel & PowerPoint for financial analysis and proposal creationStrong analytical skill with attention to detail, hands-on experience in dealing with big/complex dataGood understanding of financial analysis/modelling, financials metrics (e.g. NPV, IRR, ROI, margin analysis)Commercial acumen – understanding on commercial drivers, pricing strategies, contract structuresAdvantage to Have: Working experience with MNC, regional role, consulting firms, and Pharma commercial/ go to marketMeticulous, hand-on, ability to work with ambiguity and under pressure/high pace environment, ability to meet deadlines & requests under tight time constraint Personal attributes: agile, independence, collaborative, resourcefulness, analytical, initiative, flexibility, proactive – result driven, high integrity, willingness to accept and implement changesStrong organizational & interpersonal skillCommunicates easily in English both verbally & in writing.
