Our mission of “Advancing Cancer Diagnostics, Improving Lives” is the driving force behind everything we do.The Commercial Development Specialist is responsible for expanding Leica Biosystems’ presence in the Korean Life Science and Diagnostics market. This role holds commercial responsibility for assigned product portfolios or business segments and achieves business objectives through direct engagement with customers, key account management, and channel partner management.This hybrid role blends hands-on sales execution with strategic development, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to grow Leica Biosystems' footprint in Korea.In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity ToDrive direct sales revenue by managing relationships with key customersOwn funnel growth and conversion in assigned accounts or regionsCollaborate with Sales, Service, and Application teams to close dealsIdentify and develop relationships with KOLs and strategic accountsManage partnerships with local channel partners through joint business planningConduct market mapping, segmentation, and competitor analysisLead account-based marketing (ABM) programs and strategic campaignsSupport execution of customer-facing events (seminars, pilots, workshops)Track outcomes and contribute to cross-functional project deliveryThe Essential Requirements Of The Job IncludeBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences or related fieldMultiple years of experience in sales, business development or account managementStrong understanding of laboratory/government procurement and tender processesFluent in Korean and EnglishTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment RequirementsAbility to travel >30% within South KoreaValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:CRM proficiency (Salesforce), Excel, PowerPoint; ABM or BI tools a plusMBA or relevant advanced degreeExperience in healthcare, life sciences, or medical device industryLanguage: Fluent in Korean and EnglishOther NotesThis job description is not exhaustive and may be revised at any time.
