The company is engaged in the trade and supply of explosives and artillery systems, with a clear focus on 155 mm ammunition. Within our group, production of 155 mm shells has already started in Asia earlier this year and is expected to increase to approximately 50,000 shells per month next year. This group structure provides Falcon Defence with secure access to global-scale production capacity, combined with European presence and market access. Falcon Defence is positioned as a long-term partner to NATO and allied governments, and an important player within the Romanian defence industry.Position OverviewFalcon Defence is seeking an experienced Commercial / Sales Manager to strengthen its European market activities. The selected candidate will lead sales and business development, focusing on long-term contracts for explosives and artillery products. A military or Ministry of Defence background is required, along with proven sales expertise and strong networks within European defence institutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Falcon Defence’s European sales and commercial strategy for explosives and artillery systems.Establish and maintain high-level relationships with Ministries of Defence and prime contractors.Secure framework agreements and long-term contracts.Manage tenders, RFQs, and complex negotiations.Represent Falcon Defence at defence exhibitions, official delegations, and industry events.Promote Falcon’s group production capacity as a secure solution for European demand.Candidate ProfileMinimum 7–10 years of experience in the defence sector.Military officer or Ministry of Defence background required.Proven track record in sales and business development in ammunition or explosives.Strong network within European Ministries of Defence and procurement bodies.Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.High integrity and ability to manage sensitive government-level relations.Willingness to travel extensively.We OfferCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentives.A senior role within an international defence group with direct access to large-scale production capacity.Opportunity to shape Falcon Defence’s European commercial presence.Dynamic and international working environment with significant growth potential.ApplicationInterested candidates are invited to send their CV and a short cover letter to HR@falcon.com.roPlease use the subject line: Commercial Manager ApplicationConfidentiality is assured and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
