Job Description

Job Role: The Commercial Director will oversee the full commercial lifecycle of LEOS projects, from pre-construction through delivery and handover. The role is responsible for cost planning, procurement strategy, contract management, value engineering, and ensuring profitability across all development projects. This position requires a deep understanding of both construction and real estate development environments in the UAE.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop the commercial strategy across all LEOS development projects.Oversee all commercial operations including tendering, cost management, procurement, and contracts administration.Negotiate and finalize contracts with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure value and compliance.Implement and maintain commercial governance frameworks, ensuring consistency and cost control.Collaborate closely with Design, Development, Construction, and Finance teams to achieve commercial alignment.Provide regular reports to senior management on project costs, forecasts, risks, and opportunities.Ensure proper management of variations, claims, and change control procedures.Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising quality.Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial and quantity surveying teams.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering. MBA preferred.Minimum of 10 years of commercial leadership experience within real estate development or large-scale construction projects.Strong understanding of UAE construction laws, FIDIC contracts, and commercial frameworks.Proven experience in cost control, risk management, and contract negotiation.Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive commercial efficiency across departments.Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
