We are committed to running our business responsibly and in ways that drive environmental, social and economic value for our stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, employees and local communities.Read more about our story at: www.iplglobal.comThe roleSeeking a Commercial Financial Analyst to provide insight to the financial decision-making process in the NA Commercial organization through analysis, financial projections (planning, budgeting, and forecasting) and reporting.As a Commercial Financial Analyst At IPL You WillParticipate in the development, maintenance and enhancement of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual budget/forecast cycles within the NA Commercial and Finance teams, targeting high accuracy for credible forecasting.Analyze current and past trends in KPIs, including but not limited to revenue, COGS, customer volumes and business seasonality. Perform quantitative analysis and organize data into accessible reports using key metrics (Commercial Profitability reports, Cash Forecasts, Invoicing, Open Orders). Identify risks and opportunities to our customer and volume base. Challenge the commercial teams to provide accurate market insights.Help develop reporting tools and identify opportunities for improvement. Act as a liaison between the Commercial and Finance teamsLeverage business process knowledge and data querying skills to obtain, validate and analyze dataPerform ad hoc analysis and execute special projects as needed.What You Will Bring To The RoleBS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. Additional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.5+ years Accounting, Finance, or Commercial experience. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems. In-depth understanding of financial modeling.Solid knowledge of accounting regulations and manufacturing processes. Excellent math skills with attention to detail.
