Could it be you?About The RoleAs a Commercial Functional Lead, you will make an impact by leading the definition, design, and delivery of data-driven solutions that support commercial operations—such as sales effectiveness, brand performance, and patient analytics. You will translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and guide cross-functional teams through successful execution. In this role, you will be a valued member of our Life Sciences Consulting team, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, delivery teams, and client partners to drive measurable outcomes.In This Role, You Will Lead discussions with Sales, Commercial Operations, and cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and strategic needs Provide consulting on industry trends and best practices to align client strategy Act as a domain advisor to internal IT and product teams, offering insights into commercial data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva CRM) Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements for analytics, reporting, and data integration Facilitate workshops and solutioning sessions for use cases Create Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Low-Level Requirements (LLR) Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for ETL developers, data modelers, and BI/reporting teams Develop and execute functional test cases to validate data accuracy and completeness, and guide system testing from a business perspectiveWork modelWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client in Tokyo. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.What You Must Have To Be Considered 6–7 years of experience in the life sciences commercial domain (pharmaceutical/biotech preferred) Strong knowledge of commercial data types: IQVIA, prescription claims, sales data, CRM interactions Hands-on experience in data analysis, profiling, and interpretation of raw commercial data Proven ability to write detailed business and functional requirement documents Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and ability to validate metrics and visualizations Experience working with data and analytics platforms, bridging business and technical teams Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skillsThese will help you succeed PMP certification (preferred)We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
