Commercial Lead

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to oversee commercial operations, ensuring effective cost management, contract administration, and procurement strategies for our landscaping and construction projects. As a Commercial Lead will be responsible for managing contracts, procurement for landscape and construction projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling commercial and contractual aspects within the construction and landscaping sectors, including supplier negotiations, risk assessment, and cost efficiency.Responsibilities:Oversee contract management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with contract terms and legal requirements for landscaping and construction projects.Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for both hardscape and softscape elements.Lead supplier and subcontractor negotiations to optimize pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies for commercial and contractual challenges.Work closely with project teams, finance, and legal departments to ensure contract compliance and procurement efficiency.Monitor market trends, identify new suppliers, and develop long-term relationships with key vendors.Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.Handle commercial disputes, claims, and variations effectively while protecting the company’s interests.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial management, specifically in contracts and procurement within the landscaping and construction industries.Proficiency in procurement and contract management software.Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams.Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
