Job DescriptionThe Commercial Lending Systems Manager is responsible for the development and supervision of the Commercial Lending Systems team members. This person will provide overall leadership to the department and serve as additional support in the absence of any team member.Essential FunctionsProvide leadership for the Commercial Lending Systems team membersMonitor to ensure re-occurring tasks are performedEnsure total document and data integrity attributes to comply with CECL data pointsCollaborate with key strategic partners as needed (i.e. Third-party vendors, Compliance, Legal, Credit, and Lending departments)Establish and negotiate contracts or contract amendments with third party vendorsIdentify and develop appropriate SOX controls to mitigate riskCreate, adjust, and maintain performance metrics for headcount, Service Level agreements, and efficiencyManage, research, and remediate inquiries and complaints from internal and external customers within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Identify risks and develop plans to mitigateConduct, or participate in, the hiring, coaching, developing and supervising of team members, including one-on-one progress and coaching sessions and identifying and training team members that demonstrate high potential for succession planning purposesDocument and complete annual performance appraisals and performance management duties including, but not limited to, providing appropriate feedback and goal settingDevelop, manage and implement the ongoing design of operations, servicing, and documentation procedures, method and work systems, accountable for updates to department procedures according to Northwest’s established guidelinesServe as point person in the preparation of responses to examiners, auditors, and internal audit as requestedCreate and maintain the Business Continuity Plan for the departmentMonitor reports to assure timely resolution of system exceptionsDrive technical improvements of the appropriate loan support systemsEnsure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulationsNavigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyWork as part of a teamWork with on-site equipmentLead special projects as assignedRemain current on all pending and proposed regulatory changes affecting compliance and attend webinars/trainings covering regulatory and compliance issuesDisplay corporate leadership in support of the strategic plan, including providing recommendations regarding future directionContribute as an active member of the Shared Services Management teamEducation, Experience And Skills PreferredBachelor’s degree in business administration / finance8-12 years of experience in Banking8-12 years of managerial experienceExperience as a system administrator for any of the following: Abrigo, CreditLens, nCino, LaserProExperience as a system administrator for CRM platformsThis position is based onsite Monday – Thursday with Friday as an optional work from home day.Northwest is an equal opportunity employer.
