The role holder is also responsible for assisting with selection and examining products that get to store shelves, in catalogues, and online.ROLE PROFILEImplement effective strategies for sourcing goods and maintaining desired stock levels.Research and review new products to meet company's goals.Implement methods to reduce shortages and overstocking through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.Research and suggest new suppliers with long-term cost savings or quality improvement.Engage in souring the best quality products for competitive prices aligned with the organisation’s objectives.Implement negotiation strategies to secure profitable deals.Develop a cost scenario analysis, and benchmarking for the sourcing function when required.Identify vendors with good standing and suppliers to develop future partnerships with.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration5 – 7 years in similar position2 – 4 years in retail/FMCG industry is preferredStrong business communicationStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsWhat We OfferAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
