Currently, Karpowership owns and operates 36 Powerships with an installed capacity exceeding 3,500 MW and another 5,000 MW are under construction or in the pipeline. In addition to a Powership fleet, Karpowership owns and operates its own LNG fleet. With expertise and experience in the field, Karpowership serves as a one-stop-shop for LNG to Power solutions, as a single provider delivering all parts of the value chain; including but not limited to LNG sourcing, transport, delivery, regasification, and electricity production; with the mission of powering life wherever needed. With more than 2,600 employees globally; Karpowership is operational in Mozambique, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Gabon, Sudan, Ivory Coast, New Caledonia, Guyana, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Cuba.We are looking for "COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER" who will be working mainly for our Power Plant projects in EMEA region. The candidate shall be based in the Head Quarter in Istanbul and responsible for ensuring all business activities and resources be directed towards the achievement of Company objectives.The successful candidate should have the following qualifications;WHAT DO WE EXPECT?Engineering degree, MBA or masters degree is a plus,At least 8 years (5 years in international project management and / or business development) experience required,Preferably experienced in commercial management of international investment projects in the energy sector,Experience in Africa and Middle East is important,Excellent written and spoken English and FrenchThorough knowledge of Project operations and Financial processes,An outstanding eye for detail with a drive to provide exceptional administrative support,Very good command of MS Office Applications,High level of presentation skills,Excellent communication, negotiation & conflict management skills,Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all level,Strong critical thinking and effective problem solving skills,Financial understanding and business mindset,Keen and effective team player.Ability to work well as part of a strategic team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, completing multiple complex tasks simultaneously,No military obligation for male candidates.WHAT AWAITS YOU?Responsible for ensuring all business activities and resources be directed towards the achievement of Company objectives.Coordinate activities required to assure commencement and performance of commercial operations of the Power Plants according to its schedule, budget and specifications.Resolve issues with the customer concerning billings, plant performance, outages and failure to meet expectations and/or contract requirements.Participate the project related meetings with the customer and local authorities.Prepare the flow charts for project related procedures (customs, payment, etc.) and coordinate with related departments to assure process performance.Supervise the preparation of required internal and external business, operational, and compliance reports, budgets, and forecasts as needed.Verify the validity of all business and plant operating permits and requirements, assure compliance with local laws and regulations.Actively participate and conclude commercial negotiations on local agreements.Participate to periodic review of all plant policies and procedures to ensure they represent actual commercial and operational requirements.Audit O&M performance against agreed dashboard KPIs and contract compliance.Assist to coordination of activities required to assure optimum safety and environmental compliance, plant efficiency and reliability, in accordance with established contracts, agreements, policies and applicable regulatory laws and procedures.Informing and reporting current market developments, analyzing energy market structure and regulations, assembling periodic industry and country reports.Examining the price mechanisms, price trends and forecasts within the region as a basis for further financial analysis.Establishing strategic contacts in markets of interest to the firm, developing new business relationships, maintaining current client relationships active.Managing relations and correspondences with foreign governmental organizations and officials.Master contractual responsibilities of existing and new contracts and assure necessary coordination within the Company to fulfill them.WHAT DO WE OFFER?Hybrid working opportunity,One day off on your birthday,Comprehensive Private Health Insurance,Professional and personal training & development opportunities,Exclusive discounts and campaigns for employees.In line with our "One World" philosophy, we are adding success to our achievements with our colleagues, candidates, and all stakeholders.
