Do you have what it takes?Are you:Passionate about working with people?A creative thinker with a positive attitude & outlook?A strong dynamic communicator able to collaborate effectively?Willing to learn, adapt & grow in a fast paced work environment?WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?This exciting proposition allows you to work with Etiqa, a leader in the insurance sector, optimizing your unique skill set, and getting onboard our journey towards “Making The World A Better Place”.SCOPE OVERVIEWExecute Underwriting activities and strategies both at local and regional level to achieve both top and bottom line in accordance with prevailing company’s underwriting and treaty guidelines.Execute an efficient end to end underwriting process and ensuring that the policies are issued in compliance with underwriting guidelines and MAS requirements on data Entry and Accuracy, underwriting details and acceptance limit.Plan and implement roll-out strategies for online portal.Provide technical advice and support to business units in the respective class of business.Experience and understanding of commercial property underwriting, loss prevention and risk management for both NatCat and Man-Made hazards.Execute, support and implement ad hoc projects &/or business initiatives towards achievement of company’s overall future growthIDEAL CANDIDATEAt least 5 years of underwriting experience in P&C At least a Diploma in any disciplineInsurance certification ComGI & ACII will be a distinct advantage Meticulous, have an eye on detailPrefer dynamic and fast pace environmentService oriented with excellent communication and presentation skillsCompetent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
