The successful candidate will demonstrateindustry leading outside sales management skills to maximize revenue by creating,managing and implementing best-in-class sales development activities,acquiring/maintaining new accounts as well as retaining existing accounts to maximizegrowth.Key Responsibilities: Achieve Commercial sales and margin sales targets for Commercial Propanebusiness with approximately 80% of time prospecting for new business and20% managing existing business Work closely with operations and support functions to facilitate solutions for thecustomer Track volumes, numbers and margins by reviewing sales reports Keeps up-to-date and maintains understanding of propane codes, transportationtank regulations, federal and provincial guidelines for tank and petroleum storageand the company safety regulation Performs various administrative duties, including preparing expense andcommission reports using excel Willingness to travel with some overnights requiredQualifications and Skills: 3 or more years of commercial sales experience with a proven track record ofsuccess Strong communication and negotiation skills Formal sales training, either on the job or in formal courses Industry and product-specific knowledge of propane an asset Results-oriented, good attitude to prospect and identify opportunities for success Experience in providing excellent customer service is required Flexible, goal-oriented, time management and organization skills Must be able to work independently Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstractAvenir Energy is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout thehiring process.
