We are now looking for a Commercial Finance Manager who will play a critical role in shaping the financial engine that supports our growthAbout the roleThe Commercial Finance Manager will be the financial backbone of the Australian business. You will partner directly with the Managing Director, Marketing Director, Operations, and the global leadership team to bring rigor, insight and commercial clarity to all decision making.This is a hands on and strategic role responsible for planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling, performance analysis, unit economics, investment appraisal and commercial governance. You will ensure that every dollar of spend is working hard, margins are protected, and the business is set up for long term profitability and scale.You will also work closely with the global finance team to align reporting, standards, accounting rhythms and management packs across the group.What you will leadFinancial planning and analysis• Lead the annual budget process, quarterly reforecasts and monthly performance reviews.• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, media investment, unit economics, channel performance and retail growth.• Provide clear insight into variances, trends and key commercial drivers.• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to support data driven decisions.Commercial decision support• Partner with marketing to evaluate media spend, CAC, ROAS, LTV, promotions and channel mix.• Partner with operations to analyse COGS, fulfilment costs, inventory health and supply chain risks.• Support retail negotiations with pricing models, promo funding structures and margin analysis.• Evaluate business cases for investments, new products, partnerships and market expansion.Financial operations and control• Manage month end processes in partnership with the finance team and local accountants.• Ensure accurate P and L ownership, balance sheet integrity and cash flow visibility.• Oversee local finance processes including invoicing, AP, AR, cost controls and compliance requirements.• Maintain strong internal controls, documentation and governance standards.Reporting and leadership• Prepare monthly management packs for the Australian MD, founders and group finance.• Own financial storytelling supported by robust analysis and insight.• Influence senior stakeholders using clear commercial logic and simple language.• Act as a trusted advisor across the business, helping teams make confident decisions.What we are looking for• 8+ years experience in commercial finance, FP and A or finance business partnering for a consumer brand, retail, ecommerce or FMCG business.• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, modelling and commercial analysis.• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modelling capability, comfortable owning complex financial models.• Strong understanding of ecommerce, DTC metrics, margin structures, inventory, COGS and fulfilment economics.• Experience partnering with marketing teams on performance analysis, CAC, ROAS and investment evaluation.• Ability to simplify complex financial information for non finance leaders.• Strong commercial judgement, attention to detail and comfort working in a fast paced, high growth environment.• Experience working with global teams, shared service functions or COE structures is valued.• Hands on mindset with the ability to build processes, improve systems and lift financial discipline.• Qualification in accounting or finance (CA or CPA preferred but not essential).LocationOur offices will be on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney so you will be required to work from there, we're also open to hybrid work model, 3 days office/2 days home.Why join • Opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a high growth, globally recognised wellness brand as it scales in Australia.• Work directly with the MD, founders and a high calibre marketing and operations team.• Real influence on strategy, investment, product and commercial decisions.• A fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where your work has immediate impact.• A mission driven brand helping people feel energised, focused and at their best.
