You will assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Working under the guidance of senior chefs, you will ensure that all food preparation areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Your passion for food, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will contribute to the hotel's reputation for outstanding cuisine.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.Assist with the mise en place for daily operations, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for service.Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety, adhering to all health and safety regulations.Work closely with senior chefs to learn new techniques and support team objectives.Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage.Assist in the receiving and proper storage of food deliveries.Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and properly maintained.Participate in regular team briefings and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar culinary role, preferably within a hotel environment.Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures.Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary trends and techniques.Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
