Commissioning Engineer

Job DescriptionArranges necessary facilities and instruments for jobs such as meters, test kits, temporary preparations, shore generators, and load banksPerforms testing and commissioning activities and ensures that proper documentations are approved and signedSupervises and deploys manpower to execute the operational tasksEnsures that electrical equipment and switchboards meet the purchase specifications, and arranges for protection and maintenance of the electrical systemReviews commissioning work processes to enhance efficiency and productivityLiaises with owners, class surveyors and government bodies pertaining to project requirementsCoordinates the testing and commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department and vendorsPlans and schedules the testing and commissioning requirements based on project basis, and organises all logistics requirements for major operationsPerforms any other assigned duties and responsibilitiesJob RequirementsDiploma in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering DisciplinesMinimum 4 years of related work experience working on FPSOsPossess working experience related to testing of LV/ MV Switchboards, power generators, DCS / ICSS interface for PMS systemCapable of testing and calibration of Electrical switchboard and its components, troubleshooting and clear understanding of system specification and class requirementsFamiliar with the testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodiesFamiliar with test memos and manualsLocation(s):Seatrium (SG) Pte.
